On June 10 2009 Olivier Receveur, Angela Grigg and Leana Garraway travelled to Saulteau First Nation. The team was invited to have lunch with Chief Harley Davis and council, and present the FNFNES study to them at their regularly scheduled meeting. The leadership had many questions about the project, and a good dialogue followed. By the end of the meeting the Chief and council had decided they wanted Saulteau First Nation to participate in the FNFNES. That same afternoon Oliver, Angela and Leana again presented the project, this time at a community meeting in the school gym with 17 members of the community. Questions and concerns were clarified to community members at this time. Councillor Doris Ronnenberg, who had been present at the meeting with Chief and Council, also attended the community meeting and spoke in support of the project.
