On June 9th Olivier Receveur, Angela Grigg and Leana Garraway travelled to Prophet River First Nation. Brian and Robin Wolf, from the Lands Department gave them a tour and introduced them to community members. That afternoon Olivier, Angela, Leana, Brain and Robin hosted a community luncheon barbecue to introduce the project to the community which about 20 people attended. Olivier, Angela and Leana discussed the project with those present. Prophet River’s Chief and Council elections took place the following week on July 16th. Leana Garraway returned to Prophet River on July 31 to meet the newly elected leadership, and to present the FNFNES to them.
