On May 27th 2009 Olivier Receveur, Karen Fediuk and Leana Garraway travelled to the community of Namgis in Alert Bay, Vancouver Island. There they were met by Shannon Whonnock and Tanis Taylor and were given a tour of the U’mista cultural centre. In the evening Oliver, Karen and Leana attended a community meal, along with over 120 members of the community. This included several members of the Namgis First Nation council and the health board. After the meal, Olivier, Karen and Leana presented the FNFNES answering questions and collecting feedback about the project.
